PREFACE TO CDDO POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

The CDDO of Southeast Kansas (CDDO of SEK) Policies and Procedures contained on this website are intended to serve as the general guidelines for CDDO administration in our service area. These policies and procedures are based on elements of the Developmental Disabilities Reform Act (DD Reform), DD Reform Rules and Regulations, the CDDO Contract with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS), KDADS policies and procedures, and other governing authorities for the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) community services system.

These Policies and Procedures are not intended to be the sole guidelines for the CDDO of SEK service area; they may be supplemented by additional guidelines or instructions or superseded by higher governing authority. Every attempt will be made to maintain or amend these Policies and Procedures in accordance with governing authority. Changes to, or to administration or implementation of, these Policies and Procedures will be communicated as soon as practical.

The CDDO of SEK may develop and implement supplemental guidelines, instructions, or practices designed to clarify or allow the CDDO of SEK to meet its CDDO Administrative responsibilities.
